Site Updates - Sully's Travels (6th April), Books (6th April), Music (6th April), Sully's Barmy Web (6th April), Parkside Tales (6th March)

It all started innocently enough.

A number of people at my local pub, The Parkside Hotel in Prestwich, Bury Old Road, north Manchester, went on a pub crawl one August bank holiday.

One of them, the lovely Samantha (middle of the picture, and usually known as Sam), was dressed as the character Sully from Monsters Inc.  Incidentally, I know that Pixar spell his name "Sulley", but I've always spelt it as Sully, and since this is OUR Sully he's going to remain S-U-L-L-Y, so there.

Another one of the customers who went on this jaunt was Howard who, one way or another, provided a number of the photographs for this website.  It would be unfair not to include a picture of him, so especially for Rachael Webster we have:

Back to the plot.  Some time after the great day I saw a little model Sully in a toy shop, and bought it for Sam as a memento of the day.  I handed it over to her, and she placed the miniature Sully behind the bar at the pub.

Years passed ...

After far too long hanging around the bar at the Parkside, it was decided that anyone going travelling could take Sully with them on a few trips around the world.  Whenever anyone takes him abroad, they have to return with pictures of Sully on his travels.  In time, this site will grow to reflect his exploration of the world. 

You can click on the Sully's Travels link to get the latest updates, but for now I've got to leave you with a reminder of the day that saw the start of all this nonsense.  One picture seems to sum it all up, really, with the words "Pub Crawl" and "Relaxed" springing readily to mind (and no, this isn't me!).
